I recently took another trip to Japan and decided to go for a different digital approach: minimal amount of photos taken / no checking / finding out in Lightroom the next day. I tried to find an authentic look of tradition and contemporary life through the nostalgic use of old techniques. The vintage aesthetics of film photography add a unique depth and helped me rediscover the artistry of imperfection, where the magic of Japan is frozen in every grain, as if we could experience the past within the present.
